Market Development Agronomist
Kevin has spent 30 years working with farmers in Manitoba and running his own crop input trials.
One of Kevin’s first jobs was cutting hay on his neighbour’s farm near Dauphin, Manitoba. It wasn’t long before he started working at a local elevator and learning everything he could about growing crops. He worked in sales for many years before challenging the Certified Crop Advisor exam and earning his professional designation.
Before joining Cargill, Kevin worked with soybean and corn growers and served a territory that stretched east past the Red River, north to Lac du Bonnet and south down to Dominion city.
“My favourite part of the job is watching things grow and seeing how different products can improve production,” says Kevin. He’s been conducting his own crop trials for 20 years. Recently, he’s experimented with in-row zinc to understand the impact of different application techniques.
